INTEGRATIVE BODYWORK
Bodywork shaped by you.
Personalized bodywork drawing from gentle movement, compression, myofascial techniques and Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy.
Rather than following a predetermined routine, each session unfolds in response to you and your body in the moment.
WHAT IS INTEGRATIVE BODYWORK
Integrative Bodywork is an individualized approach to therapeutic touch.
Instead of beginning with a fixed sequence or deciding in advance which technique will be used, I draw from different forms of bodywork according to how you arrive and what unfolds during the session.
The work may include rhythmic rocking, grounding compression, myofascial techniques, Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, gentle movement, or periods of stillness.
Some sessions are more physical and rhythmic. Others gradually become very quiet.
There is no prescribed formula. The work meets you where you are.
WHAT A SESSION FEELS LIKE
We may begin with gentle rocking, movement, or grounding compression, allowing your body time to arrive and settle.
From there, the work may move into sustained myofascial contact, quieter forms of touch, or Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy.
The pace is unhurried. Rather than forcing the body toward relaxation or release, I listen for how it responds and allow the session to develop from there.
Sessions are received comfortably clothed.
MOVEMENT
Gentle rocking and rhythmic movement can help the body transition from the pace of everyday life and settle into the session.
COMPRESSION
Grounding, sustained pressure provides clear physical contact and can invite a sense of support and ease.
MYOFASCIAL RELEASE
Slow, sustained contact follows areas of fascial tension and resistance rather than forcing through them.
CRANIOSACRAL
Subtle, listening-based touch allows the work to become quieter, creating space for the body's inherent rhythms and responses.
Your session may include some or all of these approaches. There is nothing you need to choose beforehand.
SESSION LENGTHS
Choose the amount of time you'd like to give your body.
Every Integrative Bodywork session is individualized. Longer sessions simply provide more space for the work to unfold and for different approaches to be incorporated.
60 MIN — $140
A complete, more focused session.
75 MIN — $175
More room to settle into the work and allow different forms of touch to develop naturally.
90 MIN — $210
RECOMMENDED
A spacious session with ample time for movement, compression or myofascial work before transitioning into quieter craniosacral work when appropriate.
105 MIN — $245
For those who prefer a slower pace and more room for the session to unfold.
120 MIN — $280
The most expansive option, allowing plenty of time for arrival, exploration, stillness and integration.
Why Longer Sessions?
The body isn't always ready to become still the moment you lie down.
Some people settle quickly. Others benefit from movement, rocking, compression or more active bodywork before quieter contact feels appropriate.
Longer sessions give us the freedom to follow that progression without rushing.
There is no expectation that a particular amount of time be spent in any one technique.
"I came to Lisa with a significant pain and tightness in my back. She greeted me when I arrived and accompanied me on our short walk to her workspace. Her space is comfortable, clean and welcoming. After a brief but thorough consultation, she immediately found the source of my discomfort. With perfect balance of a firm yet gentle touch, I began to feel better. Her energy and approach made me feel safe and confident in her and her skill, helping me to relax mentally and physically. My only regret is that I dozed off a couple of times and missed out on enjoying the actual massage! The benefits were unquestionable as soon as I stood up. I will be back!"
